Child Drag Queen Praised as Trailblazer

When it comes to the transgender lifestyle agenda, it seems nothing is off limits, and this was made abundantly clear when an 11-year-old drag queen was recently praised during an appearance on ABC’s Good Morning America.

Although many viewers claimed the show “crossed the line in sexualizing children,” there were others who felt the appearance and the child’s chosen lifestyle was considered “trailblazing.”

Good Morning America host Michael Strahan introduced 11-year-old drag queen known by “Desmond is Amazing,” saying the child was “trailblazing,” and “inspiring to many.” He went on to add that his story was an “amazing story” that would help other similar children. After he was introduced, young Desmond strutted out wearing a yellow and white dress and blonde wig.

Desmond’s mom, Wendylou Napoles, won’t allow him to drink caffeine due to the health risks, yet seems fine, even proud of his drag queen persona.

“I love to put on makeup, dresses and wigs and of course jewelry,” said the 11-year-old. “I feel very happy to have a mom that accepts me.”

Little Desmond’s mom is in fact super supportive of her son’s behavior.

“It really touches me deeply that there are other children out there that he’s reaching and they’re listening to him and he’s influencing them to be themselves,” she said.

Desmond actually marched in his first gay pride event at the tender age of 8, while wearing women’s clothing, and he has been performing all over New York City for some time. At this point, it’s unclear how an 8-year-old developed any sexual identity whatsoever.

“I love doing drag because it makes me feel amazing and self-expressive. My one big message would be…be yourself, always,” he said.

During Desmond’s Good Morning America appearance, additional adult drag queens entered the set and thanked Desmond for his bravery and to give him advice on living the “drag life.” There was plenty of applause from the audience.

Although many in the New York audience seemed fine with an 11-year-old drag queen getting called a trailblazer and essentially being praised for being confused, not everyone was equally impressed. Once the video was posted to Good Morning America’s YouTube channel, anonymous commenters pointed out what no one was willing to in person.

“’My mom doesn’t like me drinking caffeine’ However, his mom doesn’t care that she is sexualizing her very young child,” one user wrote.

“Welcome to 2018, where we sexualize children. What a time to be alive,” another user added.

Still another comment read, “He’s just a little boy, call it whatever you like, you know he’s being used as eye candy for incredibly sick and twisted people, God forgive us all for allowing this.”

Since November 18th, the YouTube video has garnered just as many thumbs down reactions as thumbs up, showing it is far from overwhelmingly accepted.

Those commenting about this child being used to further an agenda are exactly right. A child this young is a victim of his upbringing and the values he is taught. It is obvious this child has been taught many falsehoods. Consequently, when it comes to the Christian belief, it’s important to remember that this child is in fact innocent of any wrongdoing as he is too young to know any better. However, his mom and the adults who are praising him should know better.

Though many in today’s culture readily accept transgenderism, God’s word is crystal clear about this issue. The following are just a one of the many verses that reveal God’s feelings on the subject:

Deuteronomy 22:5 says “A woman shall not wear a man’s garment, nor shall a man put on a woman’s cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.”

Believers must be quick to recognize the innocence of the child in this situation as mentioned above, while still understanding the depravity being put on display. God is clear. He created man and woman, and nothing in between. To say the “drag life” is a valid alternative that should be accepted by society is not only immoral, but most likely damaging to the child in question as well. As such, it should not be tolerated and it most certainly shouldn’t be praised.
