With the holidays behind us, many of us have fallen back into our regular routines.
After all, why shouldn’t we? We need to go to work every day. We need to buy groceries and maintain our households. We need to feed and take care of our families. While the mere mention of “routine” can bring up negative connotations for many, there’s little doubt that having such routines is absolutely essential for us to live our lives.
Of course, there’s a negative side for having such rigid lifestyle structures. While they help pay our bills, they often leave little room for our first obligations as Christians — and that is keeping God at the center of our lives.
