Mike Pence 2024? What That Could Mean for Christians

If liberals get their way and oust President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence will take the reins — and this could mean a lot for the future of religious liberty in America.

It will be quite ironic if such a development unfolds, as Mike Pence is by all accounts even more conservative than President Trump. Christians across the United States will have reason to rejoice if Pence inherits the presidency.

Imagine waking up tomorrow morning and finding out Congress is voting to impeach President Trump — something that could very well happen if Democrats retake Congress. Trump is subsequently ousted and Vice President Pence becomes the leader of the free world. Pence would do everything in his power to fulfill God’s plan for the United States of America and the rest of the world.

This means putting an end to legal abortion by stacking the Supreme Court with conservative judges, building an elite Space Force for far-reaching protection, and standing up for the rights of Christian teachers in schools. In short, a Pence presidency would be the Godless left’s worst nightmare.

Indeed, some atheists and agnostics might even spontaneously combust should Pence step into the presidency following a potential Trump ouster. The only question is how far Pence would go to return the United States to one nation under God.

Though Pence’s conservative ideas might not have widespread support throughout Congress, one thing is for certain: the scandals surrounding the Trump Presidency would come to an end. Pence is akin to a unicorn surfing a rainbow in the context of politics in that he tells the truth, and lives a squeaky clean lifestyle. Pence’s college fraternity brothers are fond of telling stories about how he would own up to the frat house’s beer kegs when police arrived to disband parties. Mike Pence cannot tell a lie as he is a devout Christian, a man of faith and a true patriot.

If Pence became president, the liberal media would be forced to pivot from seemingly non-stop coverage of Trump scandals to attempts to criticize Pence’s bulletproof politics. It is awfully difficult to critique a man of God who has few, if any, skeletons in his closet. After all, Mike Pence is the guy who refuses to meet with a woman for lunch or a one-on-one meeting unless his wife is also present. Liberal atheists like to claim Pence’s opinions and behaviors are socially normative for those living in the 1950s as opposed to 2018. Those who live in accordance with God’s will insist Pence is simply doing the right thing.

Beyond religious freedom, a Pence presidency would have serious ramifications for other policies.

Support for limiting carbon emissions has grown in Congress across the past half-decade, yet conservatives like Pence are well aware of the fact that overzealous government environmental regulations stifle economic activity. Pence is on record as stating global warming is a myth. Though there might be some truth to climate change, the bottom line is attempts to curb carbon emissions will eliminate jobs, hinder the economy and make life worse for all Americans. Pence is well aware of the fact that the United States cannot compete on the global economic stage if restrained by environmental laws.

As an example, Pence would push forward with Trump’s reversal of the fuel efficiency standards established in the Obama-era. Instead of putting unnecessary caps on air pollution, Pence would let businesses operate without significant regulatory impediments, and ultimately remain competitive. Furthermore, Pence would promote the coal industry instead of demonizing it as “dirty power” as leftists claim. The result would be a vibrant economy, continued American hegemony and most importantly, a happy populace.

In short, Pence would act exactly as instructed in the Bible.
