Women have always played a prominent role in Christianity, and their powerful voices are being heard loud and clear around the world in contemporary society.

Like their male counterparts, women for God are tapping into the wide range of mediums available to spread the word. From traditional ministries to online blogs, performance and public speaking, these are some of the strong Christian women that are changing the world.

Joyce Meyer (Joyce Meyer Ministries)

This preacher works through her nonprofit organization to spread the Gospel through TV, radio, public speaking and alternative media sources. The charismatic preacher runs a ministry centered outside St. Louis with her husband and podcasts her shows. Considered among world’s top practical Bible teachers, Meyer has covered hundreds of subjects, written more than 70 books and appears at nearly 20 conferences annually.

Heidi St. John (The Busy Mom)

Sometimes referred to as the “Super Mom of Homeschooling,” she ranks among the most prolific Christian voices. On top of homeschooling seven children, she has authored The Busy Homeschool Mom’s Guide to Romance, Guide To Daylight, and Becoming MomStrong. She has emerged as a top-tier public speaker known for promoting a positive Christian message often aimed at helping women reground themselves in the face of overwhelming responsibilities. Victoria Osteen (Lakewood Church)

Although her husband, Joel, has emerged as one of the most heard Christian voices in the world, Victoria Osteen has staked out a powerful message all her own. The co-pastor of the country’s largest megachurch, she has definitely struck a tone that resonates with women. The Osteen name, husband and wife, draws worldwide attention.

Nicole Johnson (Motivational Speaker)

Best-selling author and founder of Fresh Brewed Life, Nicole Johnson has put in more than a decade of work with Women of Faith Conferences, writing and delivering key sketches. As a prominent Women’s Ministries speaker, more than 3 million people have been touched by her empathetic and Evangelical appearances. She has authored eight books focused on connecting and empowering women and Faith.

Paula White (Paula White Ministries)

Paula White is reportedly credited with helping to facilitate Pres. Donald J. Trump’s born-again ascent. She currently works as the president’s spiritual advisor, as well as hosting and producing the “Paula White Today,” show.

Nadia Bolz-Weber (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America)

Anne Graham Lotz (AnGel Ministries)

Founder of AnGeL Ministries, Anne Graham Lotz has carried the word of God to people around the world for nearly three decades. She is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Billy Graham and started the organization, Just Give Me Jesus. The outfit has been orchestrating revivals since 2000 to help bring people closer to Jesus around the globe. She is also a best-selling author.

Kristin Welch (We Are That Family)

One of the most popular Christian bloggers on the internet, Kristen Welch connects with mothers around the world about women’s issues and Faith. A founding member of Mercy House that provides aid and comfort for pregnant women in Kenya, she helps people embrace Jesus Christ in times of loss and crisis. She has written books that include Raising Grateful Kids in an Entitled World, Rhinestone Jesus, and Don’t Make Me Come Up There. Her popular blog can be empowering to follow.

Beth Moore (Living Proof Ministries)

The Texas woman founded Living Proof Ministries in the mid-1990s with the purpose of teaching women how to follow God’s Word. Her written works and Bible study have proved to be unshackled by age, race or gender. In addition to her Living Proof Live conferences, she records a radio ministry called “Living Proof with Beth Moore.”
